Half Marathon
Description of Course
The Start of the Race is on the seafront of the Limassol city, Molos area (the promenade).
The course of the Half Marathon is of a low degree of difficulty. It is essentially a flat race with its unique characteristic being the long straight lines, and the greatest part taking place along the coastal road of greater Limassol.
The athletes head east towards ancient Amathus, a coastal route via the municipalities of Limassol, Agios Athanasios and Germasogia. The street is almost entirely straight with no bends.
At the 8th km athletes will enter the area of Agios Tychonas which begins with a downhill run and reaches an altitude of 10 meters at km-9, where they meet a few inclines & a down-hill area until Km-10.
There, the athletes are directed to take the route for return, at the same point as where they started.
