Rewards
All athletes for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10Km Race will receive:
- Medal
- Marathon T-shirt
- Participation Diploma
The first three (3) athletes (men / women) in the General Classification, as well as the first man and the first woman of every Age category will also be presented with:
- Trophies
The Age Categories for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k Race are:
- 18 – 39 years old
- 40 – 59 years old
- 60+
The first six (6) Cypriot athletes from both categories (men / women) will also receive trophies under the Pancyprian Championship 2012.
Marathon Awards
The first six (6) athletes in both categories (men / women) will also receive monetary awards (cash prizes) as follows:
Prize Amount (Men and Women)
- 1st Place 1,500 Euros
- 2nd Place 1,000 Euros
- 3rd Place 800 Euros
- 4th Place 600 Euros
- 5th Place 400 Euros
- 6th Place 300 Euros
The Athletes that would finish in the above classification are entitled of the rewards only if their time is below 2:28:00 for Men and below 2:55:00 for Women.
HALF MARATHON
The first three (3) athletes (men / women) will receive monetary awards (cash prizes) as follows:
Prize Amount (Men and Women)
- 1st Place 700 Euros
- 2nd Place 500 Euros
- 3rd Place 400 Euros
Athletes who finish in the above classification are entitled of the rewards only if their time is below 1:10:00 (men) and below 1:20:00 (women).
Participation Requirements
Cypriot athletes are required to present their health certificate from the Cyprus Sport Organization (KOA). All athletes are required to sign the Athlete Declaration Form and all athletes participating in the Marathon and 10K event must be 18 years old prior to the 20th February 2011.
