EVENT WAIVER

I declare that I will abide by the laws of the IAAF and the rules of the Organizing committee and I accept that the organizers will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses which may arise in consequence of my participation in the G.S.O. Limassol Marathon, on the 18th march 2012. I declare that I will not compete in any race or participate as a volunteer; unless I am in good health and that I will compete or participate at my own risk. I understand that participating in the events is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter or participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am traveling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event. I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organizers, sponsors, promoters, OEM and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event. I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise. The Organizers of the events have the right to refuse entry, and the decision of their officials will be final. I authorize the organizers to use any details, videos and photographs (before, during and after the events) for publicity and public relations purposes.
