The organizing teams of OPAP Limassol Marathon and Logicom Cyprus Marathon, inform the general public that after a meeting held on Thursday, March 28, 2019, the following were decided:
- The next Logicom Cyprus Marathon will be held on Sunday 15 March 2020.
- The next OPAP Limassol Marathon will be held on the weekend of March 21 and 22, 2020.
- The two events have come up with a plan for the next four years in order to avoid holding the two events on the same day.
The common goal of both events is the development of the road movement of Cyprus, but also the promotion of the island as a destination for sports tourism. The OPAP Limassol Marathon and Logicom Cyprus Marathon from now on will be in communication and consultation to achieve the above objectives.
We would like to thank the traffic movement of Cyprus but also the thousands of foreign runners who plan to run both events for their positive intervention to solve the problem that arose. We also express our warm thanks to KOA, KOEAS, as well as to the Ministry of Tourism who are warm supporters of our continuous effort to upgrade the experience of the thousands of runners who honor us with their participation. & Nbsp; & nbsp;
