In the context of its Social Responsibility, the OPAP Limassol Marathon co-organized on Tuesday , January 29, together with the Ministry of Education & amp; Of Culture, the Pancyprian School Road Race "I run for my Health". The race gave the opportunity to 1,300 students of Gymnasiums, Lyceums and Technical Schools, from all over free Cyprus, the opportunity to run along the route of the OPAP Limassol Marathon and feel the aura of the thousands of runners who will take part in the Marathon again this year. of Cyprus, March 23-24. & nbsp;
But the most important thing was that they had the opportunity to learn the secrets of running and learn about the importance of exercise for human health. The race "I run for my health" was organized for the second consecutive year. This year's event was embraced by the Committee against Addictive Substances through Sports, which has been set up under the instructions of the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis. The students ran against the addictions, passing the message through banners they hung on the field. & Nbsp;

The Limassol Municipality, the Limassol Police Department and the Limassol Public Works cooperated for the smooth running of the race. & nbsp;

It is noted that last year, the first organization of the race "I run for my health" was chosen as a good practice (success story) of Cyprus, in the context of promoting physical activity for school health environment and the prevention of obesity. This year's event was embraced by the Committee against Addictive Substances through Sports, which has been set up under the instructions of the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis. This year the students will run against the addictions and a special banner will be hung in the venue of the race.
