GDEV is a catalytic partner of the OPAP Limassol Marathon

GDEV, the gaming and entertainment powerhouse - previously under the name of studio Nexters - is for another year proud sponsor of the OPAP Limassol Marathon.

GDEV, continues its charitable activity through long-term support of the running event, through the public benefit action "You Run! We Donate'. With this action, the company will offer €1 per finisher for the individual races in the OPAP Limassol Marathon. All the collected funds will be handed over to the Limassol Social Grocery. GDEV will also host a dedicated stand close to the start/finish area to entertain the visitors and celebrate together this sports festival which holds great importance for the whole island.

The goal of GDEV is to spread messages of unity, solidarity and humanity, strengthening thus the Limassol Social Grocery and helping practically our fellow human beings who are really in need.

OPAP Limassol Marathon
The OPAP Limassol Marathon is preparing once again to welcome thousands of runners from Cyprus and abroad on the weekend of 13th and 14th of April 2024. It offers an intense race programme with 6 different races, suitable for all ages and abilities.

On Saturday 13th of April, the Primetel Corporate 5km race will take place, giving teams and companies from all over Cyprus the opportunity to test their speeds against each other. On the same day, hundreds of children are looking forward to participating in the Andrey & Julia Dashin's Foundation Youth Race. On Sunday 14th of April, the event's main race will take place, testing the endurance of the runners and attracting high-level athletes from all over the world. In addition to the 42km OPAP Marathon Race, the Muskita Half Marathon Race 21km, the Petrolina 10km "Energy Race" and the City Race 5km are being held.

The social contribution of the OPAP Limassol Marathon is remarkable, as since 2018 more than 40 charities have been supported with more than 160.000 euros.
