I was born with chronic asthma, which led to challenging times spent in a special school/hospital, often confined to oxygen tents and undergoing physiotherapy. Winters exacerbated my condition, making life even harder. Seeking relief, I eventually moved to Cyprus for its warmer climate, where I discovered an exceptional acupuncturist. After just two weeks of treatment, my asthma, which had plagued me for 54 years, miraculously disappeared. For the first time, I could set aside my inhaler and breathe freely.
Following this transformative experience, I embarked on a journey of walking and jogging. After a year of dedicated training, I participated in my inaugural half marathon in Limassol. Since then, I've become an avid runner, completing fourteen marathons. My story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the remarkable impact of finding solutions to health challenges.
