The Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation was established in 2021 in memory of Alkinoos Artemiou, who passed away from cancer on December 9, 2020. The foundation is dedicated to children with oncological and hematological diseases, aiming to provide better quality, more pleasant, and comforting living and care for the families and children who are hospitalized in oncology-hematology clinics both in Cyprus and abroad. This initiative was inspired by Alkinoos' battle with cancer, motivating the founders to create a support system that could make a significant difference in the lives of affected children and their families. Through specific action projects, the foundation seeks to improve the lives of these children and their families, guided by the spirit and strength of Alkinoos' memory.
