FUNRAISING Charity Association is committed to aiding children in need of education. Education is the key to nurturing our youth, enabling them to grow, mature, and carve their own path in society
What inspired the establishment of your charity, and what motivated its founders to address this particular cause?
As already stated above, education is the key to nurturing our youth, enabling them to grow, mature, and carve their own path in society. Our deep love for all children inspired a group of parents and friends to make a collective decision to expand the circle of love and joy.
Are there any specific populations or communities that your charity focuses on serving?
What led to the decision to prioritize these groups? We focus on children’s development, children that live in Cyprus.
What is the importance of events like the OPAP Limassol Marathon to support your cause?
Big events such as OPAP Limassol Marathon help our charity association to become known to the public. Since all of our funds are based on people’s and companies’ contributions, events like this help our association raise donations to support its purpose and serve its mission.
Is there any specific case or individual your charity supports through this year's marathon fundraising campaign?
FUNRAISING will use any money raised during the OPAP Limassol Marathon to give more scholarships to children who need financial support to complete their undergraduate studies either in Cyprus or abroad.
