Little Heroes is a charitable foundation in Cyprus that provides financial support to families with children battling cancer. Our aim is to alleviate the financial burden on these families, allowing parents to focus on supporting their children through their difficult journey. «No child should face cancer alone.»
What inspired the establishment of your charity, and what motivated its founders to address this particular cause?
The founder of Little Heroes was personally impacted by childhood cancer, as his own child succumbed to the disease. This heartbreaking experience highlighted the immense financial struggles families face while trying to save their children's lives. EMEL, (Limassol Buses ) a public transportation company, has been a steadfast supporter of Little Heroes for seven years. Their commitment to our cause is exemplary, with over 300 participants runners annually in the OPAP Limassol marathon, contributing directly to our charity. EMEL's continued support enables us to provide essential assistance to children fighting cancer in Cyprus.
